I’ve been fighting it for a while, but I think I have a girl crush on Jennifer Love Hewitt. I don’t know why I was fighting it. I think it was the idea that some little tweener starlet from Party of freakin' Five would play the enigmatic brilliant Audrey Hepburn in a bio pic that put me over the top. I LOVE Audrey Hepburn, I love her weirdly affected little accent that you can’t put your finger on, and honestly, it probably wasn’t a fair competition for Love. Anyone would come out looking like a talentless hack when placed next to the image of Ms. Hepburn.

And then, back in 2001, I was grooving on this new song by a floppy haired boy who sounded like he wore wrinkled jeans and paid for diner cups of coffee with spare change and pocket lint (this type of boy just might be my kryptonite) and then I found out, ack! It was supposedly written about Love Hewitt! I did a spit take and even though I later found out that it wasn't actually written about Jennifer, every time I heard the song, I would be thinking about her body and how it is a wonderland and ew. Way to ruin my little floppy haired boy fantasy, J.Lo.Hew!

And recently, when pictures of her in a bikini came under attack, she fought back, reminding the world that you don’t have to be perfect to wear one.

“I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image…I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body. To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong.”

Ok, it’s final. Official new stance on Jennifer Love Hewitt: LOVE HER SO MUCH. That is all. —Weetabix

I love her, too, and if I looked as good as she does, I'd wear a bikini, too!

I also love that she stood up to it, but I have to admit that it was slightly deflating that, as a size 2, she still had to say, " ... instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles."

Oh, please don't throw the bad angles thing in there, Jennifer. Especially not when you are a size that I will never see in my adulthood. It just negates some of the positivity for me...

I have to point out that JLove produced that Audrey Hepburn movie and cast herself as the star because she loved Audrey.

As a fan of Audrey Hepburn myself, I don't know that casting yourself as her is really the best tribute. Still, I applaud her for standing up for the "normal" gal.
